In addition to our cultural training programme we also carry out development work including work which provides educational support services to schools and the community, addresses social and economic exclusions, promotes anti-poverty initiatives and integration and social cohesion.
Current projects/programmes include:
- Cultural development Programme;
- Somali family learning programme, including Reading Group for Somali young people;
- supplementary school for Somali pupils in Horfield (http://uhss.wordpress.com/) and
- Work Placement project for Somali young people and refugee professionals.
